Hello all, it's a great day for us today, as it's the first official day of existence of the faveeo.com projet outside of the private circle that has been building with me this site.

We just launched a grant proposal at the Knight Foundation News Challenge (http://bit.ly/4mLkOh) and we would really love to have feedback on our proposal from the Web community!

Faveeo.com really intends to change the way people actually use, receive and share information one with another, so if you are interested in the topics of information management, and information overload, it would be great if you took a minute or two to read the proposal and to give us some feedback!

Here's the essential concept for faveeo.com in two sentences :

"Faveeo is a geo-aware, social-based content recommendation platform with the purpose to help internet users and especially local communities manage together the « information overload » on the web. The idea behind faveeo.com is to observe and analyse interactions between users and the semantically-organized and geo-localized information available on the sites aggregated in our network, to be able to automatically recommend related and quality content to each user, and each community, based on his location, and also on his interests. "
